Graham Walker Tuition was established in early 2023 to help meet the growing demand for tuition not only in Lancaster but further afield via both in-person and online lessons.
I graduated from Staffordshire University with a BA(Hons) Business Management degree in 2006.
After several years, working in marketing and analyst roles within the private sector, I decided to change career and completed a Primary PGCE at The University of Cumbria.
I have over 15 years teaching experience which includes a range of roles within senior leadership teams as well as serving as a school governor for 4 years. I have spent my teaching career working in Lancaster, Morecambe and the surrounding areas teaching a wide range of students from Reception to Year 11.
I currently offer private tuition to students working towards GCSE Maths, the 11 plus entrance exams or needing additional support with their primary education.

Oliver Charlton (Associate Tutor)
I graduated from Lancaster University with a BA(Hons) in Marketing in 2014.
After working in Google PPC marketing and Search Engine Optimisation roles, I decided to change my career path to pursue my passion for working with children. I completed a Primary PGCE at The University of Cumbria and began my teaching career.
I have over 9 years teaching experience across both Key Stage One and Key Stage Two, including 3 years teaching in Year 6, supporting children through the SATs and their preparation for the 11 plus entrance exams. I currently teach full time at a school in Lancaster as well as being the school's Head of Maths and part of the Senior Leadership Team.
I have spent my teaching career working in Lancaster teaching a wide range of students both within my teaching role and as a private tutor. I offer private tuition to students needing additional support with GCSE Maths (foundation tier), the 11 plus entrance exams or with any area of their primary education.

Tom Burrow (Associate Tutor)
I am a qualified primary school teacher who graduated from The University of Cumbria in 2021 with a BA(Hons) Primary Education degree specialising in the subject of Maths.
I currently teach full time at a primary school in Lancaster as well as offering private tuition for all areas of primary education and the 11 plus entrance exams.
I am currently fully booked up for the 2024/25 academic year but welcome enquiries to find out how I can support your child in the future and to reserve lessons for next academic year.
Megan Turner (Associate Tutor)
I graduated from The University of Edinburgh with an MA (Hons) in History in 2021. Continuing at University in Edinburgh, I completed an MSc (by Research) in Economic and Social History in 2023. Throughout this time, I privately tutored English online to individuals and small groups of students ranging from Key Stage 2 to GCSE.
After University, I worked as an Education Manager within the Museums and Heritage sector.
This year, I have started as a trainee Primary Teacher, teaching Key Stage 2 full-time whilst completing my PGCE.
I offer both in-person (within London) and online private tuition to students working towards GCSE English or requiring additional support with any area of primary education.
